Tokugawa Jujutsu Dojo is a friendly environment offering the chance to study a 2000 year old refined art of Japanese Jujitsu in Los Angeles, California.
Japanese Jujitsu (Jujutsu) is a system first employed by the mighty Samurai of Japan. Today it is practiced recreation-ally by people of all ages and ethnicity. It is a powerful system of true self defense, and forms a basis used by the Japanese Police as well as many U.S. Police agencies. Japanese Jujitsu is the very foundation of Judo, Kendo, Karate, Aikido, Brazilian Jiujitsu and on the sports side, professional mixed martial arts.
Once a woman is taught how to use her hips, gravity, and centrifugal force against the joints of an attacker, confidence increases. Speed and strength will always be a major factor in self defense, a well trained Martial Arts practitioner, male or female, will be able to negate most of their opponent's attack through proper technique, leverage, and timing.
Regular practice encourages a high level of coordination, physical fitness and camaraderie with your new peers. Challenge yourself in training, see the great improvements in your life. Bushido-"The Way of the Warrior". It's not just a way, but a way of life. Osu!
