No FELONY convictions. Per contractual agreement with Police agencies, the Master Instructor reserves his right to not train individuals with a criminal record and out of respect for the law enforcement community.

What’s the difference between Japanese Jujutsu and Brazilian Jiujitsu? The same as with any other martial arts I.E. Kung Fu, Aikido, etc.

What’s the difference anyway between the two styles? It is your obligation to learn history of your particular style. Read a book or get on the internet, there is more than enough literature out there. I understand you want immediate satisfaction on the answer, but over 30 years of experience in the martial arts has taught me that we appreciate knowledge and gain a deeper understanding when we work for it.

What is the belt system used in this particular style? First worry about enrolling, there is plenty of time to learn the belts of our Ryu.

What style is better? Every style is better. Rather, the question should be, are you and your instructor compatible. “Different strokes for different folks”

Who is your Master’s Master? And who’s the Grandmaster? Answer: Please pass white belt test before worrying about which person you need to conquer next.

Do I have to belong to an association? Just pay your monthly dues, that’s plenty of association fee’s for us, and be a decent person in your daily life.

Do you teach mixed martial arts/MMA? NO

I want to train for ground-fighting, but I don’t want to do the rest, can you do that? NO, we teach classical jujutsu, with no short-cuts.
